"Chess and Chessmasters" by G. Ståhlberg. Published in hardback by Bell and Sons in 1955. First Edition. 128pp. Betts xxxx. The book is in Very Good overall condition for its age. The book is tightly bound and stands straight with no bowing present although there is a mild shelf lean. The boards are clean and the black lettering on the spine is unfaded. The page edge blocks are clean. Internally the book is extremely clean and unmarked. It has clearly been very well cared for over the years. There is a previous owner's stamp on the front endpaper plus a reviewer slip from the publisher loosely laid in (see scan). The book is annotation and foxing free. Games are given in English descriptive notation. The dustjacket is also in Very Good condition. It is complete and is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
