DESCRIPTION

Schackvärlden 1923/24 - 1945

Swedish monthly in Goteborg

Complete run of all 22 volumes

(All the magazines were checked page by page)

Schackvarlden 1923/24 - 1945 (all, published, 22 volumes).

Goteborg, November 1923 – December 1945. This run consists of 22 volumes – 21 of them are bound in contemporary bindings with printing or printed paper labels on spine and 1 volume is in loose issues. One volume has usually 300-400 pages – exact pagination is below. Size cca 23.5 cm. The weight 12,900 grams. LN 6347, Di Felice 2340. In Swedish.

Good to very good: normal signs of use. Binding of 1939 is a little rubbed, the other bindings are OK. Text in volume 1939 is a little stained, text in the other volumes is clean. There are no writings in the text (or very, very sporadic). The covers are not bound in.

The Schackvarlden was a monthly magazine that run from November 1923 to December 1945. Title pages and indexes were not published (except 1944 and 1945 where the indexes are at the end). Some volumes contain unpaginated pages with adverts.
