"Jan Foltys: Mezinárodní Šachový Mistr" by Jiří Podgorny. Published in hardback by STN in Prague, 1956. 280pp. First Edition. In Czech language and algebraic notation. The book is in Very Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are very clean. The edge blocks are tanned with age and have light wear. Internally the book is in remarkably good condition and appears to be largely unread. The book is inscription/annotation and foxing free. It has clearly been very well cared for over the years. The dustjacket is in Very Good condition with just a short closed tear and slight wear to the head of the spine to note. The dustjacket is now protected by a superior 'Gaylord' removable see-through sleeve. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
