"Pawn Endings" by Y. Averbakh and I. Maizelis. Published in hardback by Batsford in 1974. 318pp. First UK Edition. The book is in Very Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are very clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still bright. The page edge blocks are very clean. The internal pages are in remarkably clean and unmarked condition and are inscription/annotation and foxing free. The dustjacket is in Very Good condition with just the usual fading along the spine area and a price-clipped front flap to note. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Positions are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
