DESCRIPTION

"The Book of the Nottingham International Chess Tournament, 1936" by Alexander Alekhine. Published in softback by Dover Books in 1962. 291pp. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean present. The book is inscription/annotation and foxing free. The internal pages are all very clean and unmarked. The depredations of note are all on the book covers. There is moderate creasing to the front and rear panels plus the residue of a price sticker (see scans). In addition, as usual, there is sunning along the spine area. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
