"World Championship Candidates, 1953" by D. Hooper and W Winter. Published in semi-stiff card with spiral binding by Ken Whyld in 1953. First Edition. 96pp. Betts 29-221. The booklet is in Good Plus overall condition for its age. There is very mild evidence of handling to the page edge blocks and a couple of specks on the covers but these are commensurate with age. The pages have tanned slightly, from age only. The volume is free from foxing. Internally the booklet is clean and presentable although a keen previous owner has added several penned entries highlighting printing errors in the original publication (see scan for examples). Games are given in English descriptive notation in that lovely old-fashioned "typewriter" font. Quite scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
