"Chess In Russia: Their Players and Their Games (Annotated)" by Peter Romanovsky. Published in softback by Soviet News in 1946. First Edition. 53 large pages. Betts 6-22. The booklet is in Good condition for its age. The staples binding is good although the centre double spread of photos is attached to only one staple. There is a previous owner's name on the inside of the front cover (above the facsimile autographs) and again on the half-title page (see scans). There is mild dried liquid staining to the bottom of nearly all the internal pages. The page edge block has tanned from age. Aside from the above depredations the booklet is generally clean and unmarked. It has no annotations or foxing. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Quite scarce. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
