Fair: Covers have marks/stains and light foxing, a 7 cm tear along spine, inside front cover has inked solutions to problems 33-52. Signed by author with inscription to previous owner on front cover.
L/N 2703; Betts 39-9; Kieler Schachkatalog 6403.
Includes 52 examples of the Defensive Retractor type Hoeg chess problem by the Danish author and other composers such as T.R. Dawson and C.M. Fox. plus a section of tourney problems (Nos. 33-52). Solutions to the (previously unpublished) tourney problems were not included in this booklet since prizes were offered in a subsequent solving tourney.
