Venezia, Scacchi e Scienze Applicate, 1991. Beautiful hardback beige linen binding with 2 Title labels on the spine. X (including Title page) + 413 pages. 30,2 x 22,2 cm. In Italian. Includes a letter from the publisher Romano Belluci (of S.S.A.) discussing the book and other matters.
Excellent: Nothing worth commenting on, except its spectacular condition. Virtually like new.
An astonishing and extremely scarce enormous work published in 1991 as supplement of "Scacchi e scienze applicate" in very few copies. The book was published in limited quantities due to cost and was essentially photocopied pages in a nice professional binding. The Italian composer, Alliney died in 1991. This detailed manual on how to construct a chess problem contains over 844 examples by various composers including the author.
