Bound in recent black cloth. pp (viii), 219, plus errata page. The outer margin of title-page has been repaired with tissue paper which obscures some words. A translation of Vida's famous poem on chess with parallel text in Latin and English. LN 4580. Whyld & Ravilious, Chess Texts p.33. This copy is lacking the frontispiece and 2 folded plates.
