Baird (Mrs.W.J.): Seven Hundred Chess Problems. Henry Sotheran, 1902.
4to (19.5 x 28cm), original blue cloth, gilt, edges gilt, very slight edge wear, a small black plastic number to foot of spine, otherwise a very good copy. Half-title, frontispiece portrait, preface, list of prize problems, 700 problems printed 2 to-a-page in red and blue, with ruled borders, followed by solutions at end, and farewell poem. LN 2549.
With a prize inscription to F. Bonner Feast, a bookplate of the British Chess Problem Society presented by Bonner Feast, and two stamps of the BCPS. A scarce and most attractively produced work.
