Carl-Eric Erlandsson issued eight new-year gifts 1988-1996, each printed in 99 copies distributed to his chess friends.
This issue contains a reprint from the book with notes and back-games as reported by the Committee of the Edinburgh Chess-Club printed by William Blackwood, Edinburgh; and T. Cadell, London 1829 (L/N 3372).
