Two vintage 'CHESS, Sutton Coldfield' booklets in miniature (approx. 90mm x 120mm) format. First, a booklet on the historic USA v USSR match of 1946 with brief notes by Max Euwe. Betts 26-7. 40pp. Condition is Good, for its age. Covers clean and inscription free but the staples have bled quite heavily (see scans). Second, "The Laws of Chess" published by 'CHESS, Sutton Coldfield' in 1944 (presumably in preparation for a post Second World War boom in chess playing!). Not in Betts but based on 3-12. 30pp. Condition is Good Plus, for its age. Covers clean and inscription free with minimal staple rusting. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £1.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
