DESCRIPTION

"A Collection of Chess Studies" by A.A. Troitsky. Published in softback by Whitehead and Miller in 1937. First Edition. 264pp. Betts 23-11. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The paper covers are clean, especially considering that they have been handled for over 80 years. The (rough cut) page edge block is tanned from age. There is a previous owner's name in pen on the front endpaper but apart from that the book appears to be annotation free. There is some foxing to note on the first and last few pages but none of the main text pages are affected. The vast majority of the internal pages are clean and unmarked. Contains 360 chess studies and solutions plus a section on the endgame of 2 Knights versus Pawns. A sought after volume on chess composition. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. PLEASE NOTE: AUCTION ITEMS WON FROM BIDDERS IN THE EU (and The USA, etc) WILL HAVE THEIR GOODS POSTED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND (part of the EU) AND THIS WILL, HOPEFULLY, AVOID THE NEW BREXIT POSTAL TAX. (N.B. Customers in the GB area will have their goods posted from Northern Ireland - part of GB - as usual). Any questions, please just ask.
