"The Book of the Hastings International Masters Chess Tournament, 1922" by Alexander Alekhine. Published in hardback by Printing Craft in 1924. First Edition. 68pp. Betts 25-65. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are clean. There is no evidence of any gilt lettering on the spine so I presume there never was any. The (rough cut) page edge block is tanned from age. Internally the book is in clean and presentable condition. There are a few light foxing specks on the pages (which have yellowed from age) but nothing too ugly. A few pages also have a small blemish but these depredations are LESS than commensurate with age. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Published, I assume, without a dustjacket. Further scanned images are available on request. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £2.50. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details.
