Praha 1952 chess tournament
organized by chess club Aljechin Praha
game of 2 Czech masters
Pithart (White) – Bartosek
photo 18 x 13 cm
Good: top right and bottom left corners show small crease, the photo is little wavy, light signs of use, some pencil notes on the back.
Frantisek Pithart was the winner of the tournament (1.Pithart, 2.-3.Zita, Alster etc., 12 players).

Biographical data:
Frantisek Pithart (1915-2003), Czech master (since 1951) and noted trainer. One of the best Czech players after wws. He participated many times in the finals of Czechoslovak championships. He took part in the chess olympiad Helsinki 1952 and in European team chamionship 1957. Author of many books and articles.
Milan Bartosek (1913-1996, Master of the UJCS since 1931)
