Riga Interzonal 1979

Good to very good: light signs of use. Some writings on the back.
The year 1978 on the back is a mistake, it should be 1979.
Andras Adorjan plays as White at the first table, Miroslav Filip (referee) sits at the second table, Oleg Romanishin plays at the last table
Biographical data:
Andras Adorjan (b. 1950), Hunagrian GM, World championship candidate, one of the best Hunagarian players for years.
Miroslav Filip (1928-2009), Czech GM, the best Czechoslovak player in 1950s, one of world's best chess players around 1960, World Championship Candidate 1956 and 1962. GM Filip is also well known as arbiter (Karpov - Korchnoi, Baguio 1978, women world championships etc).
Oleg Romanishin (b. 1952), Soviet/Ukrainian GM, European junior champion in 1973, he shared silver in USSR championship 1975, played in several olympiads.
