XVI Index pages (including Title page) + 1 frontispiece of the March issue on the Problem of the Horse Route (Der geschlossene Rösselzug) after page 80 + 399 pages + 1 page of the obituary of Herrmann Pollmächer. Bound without covers. 22,4 x 16,1 cm. In German.
Good to very good: Binding with light rubbing on the edges. The Title Page has a lot of browning, which seems to have been caused by "laminating" or something similar on the inside of the front cover, as it is exactly the same shape. I have put the 2 consecutive photos to be able to appreciate it better. The pages of the first three issues with some foxing. Paper is hardly browned. I'm not entirely sure, but it seems that after page 97 the paper is slightly darker, and probably the whiter paper of the first 96 pages is more conducive to heavy foxing. Perhaps it is something frequent in this Volume, since our friend Stikuw sold a copy in similar condition: http://www.chesslund.com/detail.asp?id=30177. Some few marking on a diagram or game with pencil, easy to erase. Inside in very good condition, with very few little spots.
