Magyar sakkvilag 1922 (incomplete volume 7) + 1923 (complete volume 8), bound in one book.
Kecskemet, 1922-1923. Contemporary halfcloth, spine lettered. Year 1922: (4) = title, index + pages 93-208. Year 1923: (4) = title, index + 236 pages. All covers bound in. Size ca 22 cm. 500 grams. In Hungarian. LN 6164, Di Felice 1413.
About Good: spine ends a little/somewhat worn, edges a little rubbed. On the front paste-down is the name of the previous owner (chess composer and collector Ilja Mikan) pasted with a paper sticker. There is a defect with a small loss of text on pages 51/52 and 61/62 of the 1923 volume. Occasional neat marks in the problem section in Ilja Mikan’s hand, otherwise text with no writings.
Complete volume 1923, numbers 1-12 including title/index + second half of volume 1922. The covers are not bound in. No plates were published in 1923.
The magazine was published in 1911-1950, then replaced by Magyar Sakkelet. The years 1911/12 to 1918/19 were published in Budapest as a fortnightly. In 1920 and 1921 the magazine was not published. From 1922 the magazine was published in Kecskemet as a monthly.
