Unique features: One original photo of Alekhine is mounted on first endpaper. Signed letter from Max Euwe who thanks the previous owner of this book for a present on his 75 years birthday. Euwes letter is still in its original envelope.
Condition: Slight use. slight shelf lean. A second Alekhine Photo (magazine cut-out) glued on to inner lid. Golombeks review of the book (The observer) is mounted on half title. Previous owners name on first endpaper. Minor crack at gutter. Dust jacket re-inforced with tape inside.
