Important note: pages 193-200 are a Beilage (Supplement) of double issue 22-23, titled "Fest-Zeitung zur 62. Stiftungsfeier der Berliner Schachgesellschaft" (Festive Newspaper for the 62nd Foundation Celebration of the Berlin Chess Society) with a portrait of E. Schallop. The portrait of Herzog August (Selenus) mentioned in different sources is on page 348.
Good: Binding rubbed and worn, especially on the edges and corners. Binding slightly tilted. Spine rubbed with breaks at both ends. Many games numbers with a light pencil mark (a kind of "x"), probably erasable. Light browning inside, sometimes with light dirt and some foxing, some light wrinkle, but nothing especially important and in good condition (in some moments very good condition). Although the binding is in decent and good condition, the edges of the spine are somewhat brittle, as the binding between the spine and the covers is practically only linen and easily deteriorates over time when opening and closing the Volume. So it is highly recommended to give a beautiful and new binding for such a special Magazine.

First Volume (although 5th of the Magazine, since it continues the numbering of its predecessor) of the continuation of the mythical "BRÜDERSCHAFT" Magazine.
Normally its price at auction exceeds the barrier of 400 EUR, exceeding in most cases the barrier of 700 EUR. Below is a list of 5 copies auctioned at Klittich-Pfankuch:
Auction 56 (November 2009). Lot 1468. Its Hammer Price was 700 EUR (including taxes 861,35 EUR). Browned on the inside due to the paper and slightly stained. With some notes.
Auction 57 (June 2010). Lot 1505. Its Hammer Price was 650 EUR (including taxes 799,83 EUR). Browned on the inside due to the paper and slightly stained.
Auction 67 (November 2014). Lot 1402. Its Hammer Price was 390 EUR (including taxes 479,90 EUR). Browned on the inside due to the paper and occasionally stained. By mail with a vertical crease. Few pages with defects.
Auction 70 (June 2016). Lot 977. Its Hammer Price was 850 EUR (including taxes 1.045,93 EUR!!!). Browned inside and with some handwritten notes. Page 215 with glued-in newspaper clipping.
Auction 77 (November 2019). Lot 974. Its Hammer Price was 200 EUR (including taxes 246,10 EUR. A relatively low price, but for a Volume in very poor condition). Bound in 3 Volumes. It is missing the Title Page, number 9 (pages 69-76, enclosed as photocopies), and pages 193-194, 367-370 and 461-462. Book blocks loosened. Label on inner cover and stamp on endpapers. Some issues partly differently trimmed. Inside browned, a little stained, with some handwritten notes and partly with crease marks. Few pages with defects. Many issues and pages loose. Binding bumped. Spine heavily scuffed.
