Very good to excellent: It is only worth mentioning a slight normal browning on the inside. Otherwise in excellent condition for its age.

The booklet seems to deal in its first pages about the origins and organization of Chess in the newborn Deutsche Demokratische Republik, specifically in the district of Altenburger Land in Thuringia. Perhaps it would be appropriate to have cataloged this booklet as "Yearbook" since it deals with the Chess Tournaments played in 1948 and part of 1949 ("Unsere Erfolge" on pages 8-9) and the Tournament Program/Organization for the rest of 1949 on the composition of the Teams of each municipality, the regulations, the calendar and cross-tables of Tournaments (both for Teams and Individuals) in play with the classification at that moment. But I have preferred to keep it in the Tournaments section because it is actually about different Tournaments, but above all because I had told you that it was a Tournament. My zero knowledge of German caused my ignorance about the specific theme of the booklet. After an important investigation on the Internet I have understood its theme much better.
