Sonderheft (special issue) No. 1 of Kagans Neueste Schachnachrichten 1925. Pages 121-136.
Inside is a four-page leaflet with a selection of chess publications from Bernhard Kagan's publishing house.
The front cover is signed in the upper part by Czech chess master Frantisek Treybal.
Frantisek Treybal (1882-1947) was the second official Czech Chess Champion. He won this title at the congress of the Czech Chess Association in Brno in 1907 (the first Czech champion was Oldrich Duras in Prague 1905). He was also the winner of the 1907 Berliner Schachgesellschaft tournament and took part in the first international tournament in Prague 1908, where he did not play well but beat Dawid Janowski. Older brother of the better known Czech master Karel Treybal.
Condition - Good: minor folds, the advertising leaflet is a bit creased on the sides.
