Fair to good: some crease to the bottom left corner and in the middle. Note in pencil on the front, address in pen on the back.
Biographical data:
Jan Foltys (1908-1952), IM, one of the best Czech players in 1930s and 1940s. Czech champion in 1940 and 1943, he played three times in the Olympiads (1936, 1937, 1939), his greatest success was probably the third place in Podebrady 1936 (after Flohr and Alekhine), he came third in Prague 1942 (1.-2. Alekhine, Junge).
