Good or better: covers slightly soiled. Small defect near the staples. Internally OK with no writings.
This book contains all 56 games of a thematic correspondence tournament on the opening 1.b4. All 56 games are here, some are annotated by A. P. Sokolsky, some are unannotated.
Tournament result: D. Saplinov 12 of 14, followed by D. Leiferman 9.5, L. Chepurnoy 9, K. Kolosan 8.5 etc. There were 8 participants, double-round robin.
On the first 20 pages of the book there is an article by A. Sokolsky about the novelties in this opening.
