Frontispiece printed in mauve, pp viii,446, 33, (7) including list of subscribers, and over 100 problems by the author. A scarce work. LN 2477.
A composer of Scottish descent, and a schoolteacher in Jamaica, the growing popularity of the two-mover and its further development owed much to his influence. (Oxford Companion.)
