The official selection of the world's best chess compositions of the period 2016-2018 contains 1984 works from 306 authors, sorted into 8 sections: Two-movers, Thre-movers, Moremovers, Endgame studies, Helpmates, Selfmates, Fairies, Retros.
Each composition includes a diagram, place and date of the first publication and an annotated solution. The book is accompanied by many various statistics, indexes of authors and sources, definitons of terms and themes etc.
Starting from 2013 (period 2004-2006), FIDE Albums are published and edited by the well-known Slovak composer Peter Gvozdjak. Book code 10439.
