Missing issues: 2 (only cover is available), 4, 25, 43, 44, 48, 50.

Title page and index are included as well as issue 34a. There is a portrait plate with Isaac Rice in issue 1 (worse condition) and with Friedrich Amelung in issue 14. The remaining two plates are missing (Frank James Marshall in 27 and Emanuel Schiffers in 40).

Deutsches Wochenschach was a German chess magazine published in the years 1885 to 1925. From 1885 to 1888 under the name Die Brüderschaft.

The condition of individual issues varies from Poor to Very Good. All issues are with covers except no. 1, no. 14 (front cover only) and 27 (front cover only). Several covers are detached. Title page has tears along the sides as well as the portrait plate of Isaac Rice.
