Pawel Stempin (born 1959) is a Polish chess player, International master and one of the strongest Polish players in the 80s. He represented the national team of Poland at the Chess Olympiads in Thessaloniki 1984 and 1988.
Eduard Prandstetter (born 15 December 1948) is a Czech chess player, International master and two-times Czechoslovak Chess Champion (1976, 1978). One of the strongest Czech players in the 70s and 80s. In 1985, he played in the Interzonal tournament in Taxco. The only Czech player to win a national title in practical and problem chess (in the three-movers category).
