Kling, Josef. The Chess Euclid.

A collection of two hundred chess problems and end - games composed by Herr Kling. With 1 frontispiece and 214 diagrams. II, 3 ll., 54 un-paginated leaves with diagrams in red and blue, 26 pages of solutions. Blindstamped cloth with (faded) gilt title on spine. London, Hurst, 1849. L/N. 2393. Betts 33 - 45.

Interesting collection of 214 problems by the German study composer and endgame theorist Josef Kling (1811 - 1876). Revised and corrected by the author. 

Condition: Slight foxing on first pages. Binding sun bleached.
