The British Chess Magazine 1891. Edited by Robert Frederick Green. London, Trubner & Co, 1891. Issues 1-12. 568 pages. Complete volume 11 including title page, index (VIII pages) and all 11 portrait plates. Covers not bound. LN 6135. Betts 7 - 27.

 

BCM is the oldest continuously published chess magazine in the world.

 

Condition - Still Good: elegant half-cloth binding with gold lettering on spine, spine  a little torn at the top, portrait plate with Walter Grimshaw with slight tears, stamps of previous owners on the title page, inside sporadically stained.
