Original handwritten postcard from ICCF World Champion Vladimir Zagorovsky sent to Frantisek Pithart, dated 13 July 1961. Zagorovsky sent his moves of the two correspondence games he played with Pithart. Size 14,8 x 10,5 cm.

Vladimir Zagorovsky (29 June 1925 - 6 November 1994) was a Russian chess player, chess grandmaster of correspondence chess and 4th ICCF World Champion between 1962 and 1965.

Frantisek Pithart (October 20, 1915 - October 20, 2003) was a Czech chess master, trainer, publicist and official. In the 1950s he was one of the leading Czech chess players. He participated in the Czechoslovak Chess Championships finals six times and twice (1955, 1965) won the bronze medal. He represented the national team of Czechoslovakia at the Chess Olympiads in Helsinki 1952 and at the European Team Chess Championship 1957 (bronze medal).

Condition - Good: slight folds and tears on the edges.
