Original photo postcard with participants of the international chess festival in Vrnjacka Banja 1970. Size 13,7 x 8,8 cm.
It was an open tournament with 68 participants (50 players from Yugoslavia and 18 from abroad) played by the Swiss system for 13 rounds. The top two players in the overall standings advanced to the International Grandmaster Tournament in 1971. The winner was Hungarian Ivan Farago ahead of Laszlo Vadasz and Ivan Nemet.
Condition - Good to Very Good: back side slightly stained.
