A Monthly Journal of chess, whist, games of skill and the drama. Many diagrams and illustrations. Descriptive notation. 144 pages. The reason for the publication of the magazine is written in the foreword: "There is among Chess - players an insatiable desire to see their exploits in print ..." a. with chess contributions, problems and many games, was looked after by Mossopp. "Includes whist, humerous poetry, drama notes etc." (Betts) L/N 6131; van der Linde II, 123f. Betts 7 - 13.
Condition: Fair. Original red linen with defect spine. Paper is yellowed. Some spots inside. Binding defect. Needs a rebinding. Index.
