Ludìk Pachman: Theorie moderniho sachu.
Theorie moderniho sachu, part 1 and 2, open and halfopen games, Prague, Práce 1948, 251 pages, hardcover. 14 signatures of well-known grandmasters and masters. The signatures originate from Spindleruv Mlyn 1948, where the Trade Union Olympiad and the Czechoslovakia-Yugoslavia match were played (see Ceskoslovensky sach 1948 page 118-120.)
In the attached photo (which is not included) from the game Pachman - Trifunovic, you can even see Pachman's book (foreign players may have received it as a gift).
Signatures first column top to buttom: ?, ?, Erno Gereben, Gedeon Barcza, Jozsef Szily, ?, Izaak Grynfeld (he later changed his name to Ignacy Branicki), Maxmilian Ujtelky.
Second column top to buttom: Edgar Walther, Laszlo Szabo, ?, Emil Richter, Dragoljub Janosevic, Boris Kostic.
Condition: Slight wear. Crack inside at gutter. Paper yellowed.
