Deutsche Schachblaetter 1938 (volume XXVII).
Leipzig 1938. Contemporary or later halfcloth binding, spine lettered. (2) = title + 392 pages (index = pp.388-392). Size ca 23 cm. The weight 570 grams. LN 6066. Di Felice 787. In German.
Good to very good: binding is OK. Stamp of previous owner (chess composer and collector Ilja Mikan) on the front paste-down. Sporadic neat marks in the problem section in Mikan’s hand, otherwise text is clean with no writings.
Complete volume 27, numbers 1-24 including title page and index. The covers are not bound in. No plates were issued in this year.
The Deutsche Schachblaetter was published twice a month in 1909/10-1918 and after a break 1921-1943 (and then continued since 1948).
In the current auctions we are offering 25 volumes of this magazine. All the magazines are complete, bound and in nice condition.
