Mr I. Filmer Emmett - Mr Vivian Fenton, One Hundred Chess-Games played during the winter of 1864.

 "The games have occasional comments. Includes an opening index." [Betts]

"Throughout the match Mr Emmett plays with the BLACK, and Mr Fenton with the WHITE pieces." (page 5). Mr Emmett won +58 -38 =5 [sic] (page 59).

60 pages bound in contemporary brown halfleather with gilt print on spine. 12 unpaginated white pages bound in before title page and 96 in the end. Stamp from Brooklyn Public Library.
