THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CANDIDATES' TOURNAMENT HOLLAND 1956
Wood, Baruch H. (Ed.): "THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CANDIDATES' TOURNAMENT. HOLLAND 1956". With notes to all the games collated from numerous sources and critically edited by BARUCH H. WOOD. Photographs. Indexes. Round by Round Surveys. Ring-side Commentary by W. Heidenfeld, etc. Survey of Opening Innovations. Published as a supplement to "CHESS" commencing 28th April, 1956.
Sutton Coldfield, CHESS, 1956. Maybe original green cloth publisher binding with gold titlte in spine. 168 pages. Descriptive notation. 21,4 x 13,9 cm. In English.
Good to very good: Only a visible and relatively important defect: the stain on the front cover, perhaps caused by an erasure when cleaning some stain. Binding with light scratches on the corners and edges. Stamp of the Wigston Chess Club Library at the bottom of the Title Page. I have only seen a small arrow in the outer side margin of page 88, slight corrections on pages 94-95, and a small note in the outer side margin of page 111. There may be a few more, but keep in mind a fairly clean book of writings, with very little. In general good to very good condition.
Betts 25-247; Di Felice 50.3 (Chess Competitions 1824-1970); Kieler Schachkatalog 4209 (also mentioned in 68 corresponding to "CHESS" Magazine).
