XX shakhmatnyy chempionat SSSR Moscow, 8. Dec. 1952-21. Jan. 1953. All games of the 20. championship of which some have annotations in Russian. Many diagrams and photos. Russian notation. Play off match for first place, round reports, articles about the participants etc. Selected games of the semifinals (in Leningrad, Sochi, Minsk) and other materials. Botvinnik and Taimanov won. Bulletin no. 1-15 of the Committee for matters of physical culture and sport under the USSR Ministers' Council. Each bulletin 8 pages. 28 cm. Mocow 1952. Sakharov 1024.
Condition: Privately bound in brown cloth. Paper yellowed and creased. A few markings on endpapers and inner lid.
