"The British Chess Magazine, 1934" edited by R.C. Griffith and published in maroon hardback by Whitehead & Miller in 1934. 528pp. First Edition. Betts 7-27. Includes index. Volume 54. The volume is in Good Plus overall condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are clean although the gilt lettering on the spine has faded completely (see scan). There is a small area of damage to the top, left corner of the rear board (see scan). The page edge blocks are clean. Internally the volume is in Very Good condition. It is inscription, annotation and foxing free. The pages are glossy to the touch and all very presentable, apart from a small ink spillage stain on the front pastedown and endpaper (see scan). Games are given in English descriptive notation. Published without a dustjacket. Further scanned images are available on request. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Any questions, please just ask.
