"Rubinstein's Chess Masterpieces" by Hans Kmoch. Published in hardback by David McKay in 1941. 192pp. First Edition. Betts 29-126. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no bowing or shelf lean present. The gilt lettering on the spine is still strong. The page edge blocks have browned from age and, presumably, the poorer quality of paper available during WW2. Internally the book is inscription and foxing free although several pages have light, penned or pencilled annotations (see scans). The internal pages have tanned somewhat but not as much as the edge blocks. The - scarce - dustjacket is in Fair condition. It is nearly complete but does have some loss on the spine area (see scan). There are several sellotape repairs to the dustjacket, particularly along the spine and rear panel. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Any questions, please just ask.
