DESCRIPTION

"Great Britain v USSR (Over The Board) Chess Match, 1947" by G. Levenfish and W. Winter. Published in softback by the Anglo-Soviet Chess Circle in 1949. First Edition. 54pp. Betts 26-12. The booklet is in Very Good condition for its age. The covers are clean with minor age-related discolouration to note. The page edge blocks are clean. There is a very small area of superficial damage to the spine and a tiny closed tear at the top of the front cover (see scans). Internally the booklet is very clean and it is obvious that it has been well cared for over the years. It is inscription/annotation and foxing free. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Scarce and sought after, especially in this condition. Further scanned images are available on request. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOW BASED IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND AND, THEREFORE, ALL SALES TO EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS (APART FROM GB) WILL BE IN EUROS AND SHIPPED DIRECT EU - EU (THUS AVOIDING ANY BREXIT POSTAL TAXES). CUSTOMERS IN THE GB AREA CAN STILL AVAIL OF SHIPPING DIRECT GB - GB AS I CAN SHIP FROM NORTHERN IRELAND, ALTHOUGH THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT DELAY IN POSTING. CUSTOMERS IN THE USA AND THE RoW WILL HAVE THEIR ORDER SHIPPED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND.
