DESCRIPTION

"The Purdy - Koshnitsky Chess Match, 1934" by C. Purdy and G. Koshnitsky. Published in softback by E.A. Dunstan in 1934. First Edition. 51pp. Betts 27-38. The booklet is in Very Good condition for its age. The covers are clean with just minor age-related discolouration and the odd speck to note. The page edge blocks are clean. The (stapled) binding is tight. The staples have begun the process of rusting but have not turned red yet (see scans). Internally there is a previous owner's name and place written in pen on the title page but the remainder of the booklet is inscription/annotation and foxing free. It is obvious from handling this little gem that it has been well cared for over the years. Rare. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on booklet weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Any questions, please just ask.

PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOW BASED IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND AND, THEREFORE, ALL SALES TO EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS (APART FROM GB) WILL BE IN EUROS AND SHIPPED DIRECT EU - EU (THUS AVOIDING ANY BREXIT POSTAL TAXES). CUSTOMERS IN THE GB AREA CAN STILL AVAIL OF SHIPPING DIRECT GB - GB AS I CAN SHIP FROM NORTHERN IRELAND, ALTHOUGH THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT DELAY IN POSTING. CUSTOMERS IN THE USA AND THE RoW WILL HAVE THEIR ORDER SHIPPED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND.
