Problems and end games, selected, arranged and written. Bristol, Fawn, 1883. XI + 202 pages. LN 3811. Betts 6 - 9. Original cloth binding with rich blind embossing and gilt lettering on spine.

 

History of the club, p. 1 - 27. The games (including a selection by visiting masters Anderssen, Staunton, Löwenthal, Kieseritzky and others) have occasional notes appended; 12 problems; indexes of openings, players. (Betts)

 

Condition - Good: binding a bit worn and soiled, light stains on title page and frontispiece, foxing on edging.
