Wien 1949. Carl Schlechter Gedenkturnier 1949. Herausgegeben vom Schachklub Hietzing (Wien) mit Erläuterungen von Hans Müller unter Mitarbeit von Gino Fletzer (Venedig), Jan Foltys (Mährisch-Ostrau), Cenek Kottnauer (Prag), Enrico Paoli (Reggio-Emilia), Stojan Puc (Laibach), Braslav Rabar (Agram). Willy Verkauf, Stuttgart, Wien, St. Gallen, 1949. In German. 60 pages + 2 leaves. LN 5787. Original softcover.

Contains all 91 games from the tournament with annotations, tables, opening index. The winners were Foltys and Puc.

On page 2 there is a handwritten dedication in German: “Mit den besten Wünschen vom Herausgeber”, a signature (from Dr. W. Dorazil?) and the date Wien, 19 October 1949.

Condition - Good: spine with slight tears, signature on the title page, a few library stamps, handwritten note on the back cover.
