About Good:  a few notes in pencil  on the back. Rear side is somewhat stained - it is possible that the photograph was previously glued on cardboard or some other material.

By the way, Salo Flohr won the tournament with 13 of 17 ahead of Alekhine, Flotys, Pirc, Stahlberg etc.

Biographical data:

George Alan Thomas (1881 - 1972),  one of the best British players in 1920s-1930s, 2x British chess champion. Thomas was also an excellent tennis and badminton player.

Salo Flohr (1908 - 1983),  Czechoslovak, later Soviet GM, one of the top players in 1930s, World championship candidate.
