Potsdam, A. Stein's Verlagsbuchhandlung, 1916. Private half cloth marble binding with label (text barely visible) title on spine. Title page + 373 pages (Index in pages 353-373). Bound without covers. With many plaques of honor (Ehrentafeln) for the fallen chess German players in the First World War. 23,3 x 16,3 cm. In German.
Good to very good: Binding slightly rubbed, more visible on the edges and spine, with a kind of slightly brown discoloration. Famous ex-libris of Dr. Robert Blass in the 1st safeguard. Inside with some browning, and some slight notations in pencil (erasable), although nothing especially important, in good condition for his age.
