"Modern End-Game Studies for the Chess Player" by Hans Bouwmeester. Published in hardback by George Bell & Sons in 1959. First UK Edition. 128pp. Betts 23-19. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The binding is tight although there is a tiny shelf lean present. The boards are very clean. The page edge blocks have light evidence of age and mild foxing (see scan). Internally the book is inscription, annotation and foxing free. The internal pages are very clean, although tanned from age. NOTE: The rear endpaper has been removed. The dustjacket is also in Very Good condition. It has faded along the spine area and has two miniscule holes in it, along the spine (see scans). It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Further scanned images are available on request. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Any questions, please just ask.
