Program from the match Top Ladies - Top Veterans played in Prague 1995. In Czech (and partly in English). 49 pages. Size 20,8 x 10 cm. Original softcover.
Contains a foreword by Joop van Oosterom, information about the tournament, player introductions, historical articles about women's chess by Czech chess historian Jan Kalendovský, etc.
Added is a bulletin issued during the match from rounds 1 - 9 (10th round is missing) and team and individual results after rounds 6 and 7. The bulletin was issued on individual sheets of A4 format.
The Ladies versus Veterans matches were organised by the Max Euwe Association, headed by Dutch billionaire and chess sponsor Joop van Oosterom, from 1992 to 2001. They have always been named after a dance by the venue. The match in Prague was one of the strongest. Boris Spassky, Vasily Smyslov, Viktor Korchnoi, Vlastimil Hort and Lajos Portisch played for the veterans and Judit Polgar, Zsuzsa Polgar, Xie Jun, Pia Cramling and Nana Ioseliani played for the women.
