Jan Hein Donner played a match against Max Euwe in 1950, which he lost 2½-1½. A year later he played against Lodewijk Prins and this match was won by Donner 4½-1½.The conservatory room in the National Chess Building in The Hague was the place where these meetings took place.The analyzes of the games of both matches are based on the notes of Max Euwe and H. van Donk, former member Discendo Discimus, and the chess program Fritz.Alexander Münninghoff is responsible for the accompanying text in the book.
Condition: 2002 / 108 pages / linen binding/slight discolouration on front cover, otherwise in good condition.
